Modifications
It might be possible to make changes to courses even if they have already started but this will will be determined by the school only based on space, time and other organisational aspects

Visas
Students from North America or Europe do not usually need a visa for less than 3 months and this can be extended an additional 3 months once in Colombia.  If a visa is needed it is the students’ responsibility to allow enough time for the completion of their visa application.

Dates
Courses start every Monday although Online, Private & Duo lessons can start any day of the week .

Holidays
There are many public holidays in Colombia and we try where possible to keep the school open for 5 days in those weeks. This usually means that a course may run from Tuesday – Saturday rather than Monday – Friday for example. If for whatever reason the school will not be open, students will be notified at the time of enrolment

Timetable
The school is normally open Monday to Friday from 8.30 to 18:00 although we do open until 1 PM on Saturdays when there is a national holiday that impacts classes. We create timetables in advance and assign students and teachers accordingly. We try to keep students with the same teacher and will do our best to accommodate personal preferences but this may not be possible.
In the occurrence of unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to change timetables or postpone classes

Spanish Test / Level Placement
Students are required to conduct a level test (unless they are absolute beginners). The level test assists us in assessing their learning requirements, level and class timetable. In addition to the written test we often do a quick oral test on your first day in order to make sure we place you at the correct level to maximise learning.

Attendance
If students cannot attend every day of the week, they must notify us . Students have the responsibility to attend every class and make the most of them so that they do not hold back other students in the same group. They must attend at least 80% of the classes, make academic progress and behave properly. If not, we reserve the right to modify/cancel the course or change the group and level if necessary.
If no student shows up during the first 20 minutes, the class will be automatically cancelled

Usage of photos and videos for promotional purposes.
When registering, students give us permission to send them relevant information about the school and classes on offer.  Also, to use photos and videos of activities carried out during class and other school events on the school website and or other promotional material. The withdrawal of these permissions must be communicated in advance at the time of enrolment.
